Families for the Future is glad to announce that in our first
semester of active operations we have worked with five schools
in three different states to assist 10 students with educational
expenses.
We thank our early donors who contributed over $5,600 in
2002. From September through December 2002 we were able to
forward to these 10 families over $3,200 which equates to
an average of approximately $75 per month per student.
Additionally the number of members registered with our organization
has increased to over 200 by the end of 2002.
We
are very pleased with all of these figures. Our hope is that
in 2003 we are able to increase the percentage of funds forwarded
to assist families. This can easily be accomplished with increased
volume of donation funds. Increased donations will result
in a smaller percent of money being required to cover our
fixed cost.
We
